Scalextric Compact Sets

About Scalextric Compact

Scalextric Compact sets are designed for younger children. They let you have your first Scalextric at a more affordable price and in less space.

What size are they?

These sets are called Compact because they are made in 1:43 scale, unlike standard sets, which are 1:32 scale.

Being smaller, they give you a long track in less space. This means Scalextric Compact sets can be set up even in the smallest room at home and packed away in a small corner.

If you have young children and not much space at home, Scalextric Compact is without doubt the best choice.

Each set's product page lists its dimensions so you can get an idea of its size.

What are the cars like?

The cars included in Scalextric Compact sets are also 1:43 scale. They are very sturdy and are designed and built to last.

What is the track like?

Scalextric Compact track is designed to be easy to assemble and to keep the cars on the track. It's also robust, so the circuit is very compact and even.

Take special care when joining the track pieces so as not to damage them. Don't twist one piece against another and force the connectors, as they can break.

What age is Scalextric Compact recommended for?
